I started Gray Girl Jewelry in 2018, after an awful encounter with a jewelry store owner who was appalled that I would even consider moissanite for a stone in my ring. That made me angry - why should I be judged for something that I like?? Customers anywhere shouldn't be treated that way!

That led me on a mission to find gorgeous moissanite, at affordable prices (at the time, all you could really find was either very expensive, or very inexpensive - no middle ground).

Through trial & error, I found myself some of the best suppliers in the industry that offer consistently phenomenal quality, at reasonable prices.

Just a year later, I opened my hybrid jewelry/gift shop, LuLu's (a fun, upbeat, non-judgmental store), which allowed me to showcase these gorgeous gems. Before I knew it, I had people coming from all over to see them, because it's still not terribly common to find moissanite in store. Especially gray & colored moissanite, which is the majority of my collection!

Are you new to the world of moissanite? I welcome you! It's an incredible stone - it's ethical, economical, and SO beautiful! Why pay top dollar for a diamond, when you can have a stone that has almost the same hardness (9.25 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, vs a 10 for diamond - the hardest known mineral), for a fraction of the cost. And they are conflict free, so you can feel good about your purchase.

I understand that you have many choices when it comes to buying moissanite, and jewelry in general these days. There are great companies out there, there are not so great companies out there. My advice is to research everyone, and read those reviews. I have over 3,000 sales in my Etsy shop alone, with a 5 star rating. A+ BBB accreditation as well.
